A New Beginning... towards an end.
As I approach the end of a teaching career, and dream of a future music-making career, I am setting myself a daily discipline: creating tunes using the voice I know best, my violin. I will start with a goal to create a new tune each day for a year. The tunes will be short, although I may at times, include a 2nd sound file with a longer improvisation on the tune.
So for now “Let it begin!”
Here is the first tune of a hopeful 365 this year, a hopeful little ditty to go with the day. Let's call it “Day One.” Written Aug. 30, 2009, by Kit Eakle to mark this “Beginning towards an end.” Enjoy!
